Ohioans Lack Access To Affordable, Quality Child Care (Ideastream)

The US Treasury department released a report last week calling the nation's child care system 'unworkable.'


Vice President Kamala Harris and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen encouraged Congress to provide for funding toward affordable childcare.


While support at the federal level seems somewhat encouraging, local advocates voice concerns that the state government hasn't made the issue of affordable, quality childcare for 3-5 year olds, enough of a priority.
