Welcome to Groundwork Ohio (“we,” “us,” or “our”)! We are champions of high-quality early learning and healthy development strategies from the prenatal period to age five, that lay a strong foundation for Ohio kids, families and communities (our “Services”). Part of our Services include hosting the website found at www.groundworkohio.org (“Site”). This Notice applies to our Site and any of our Services where it is specifically referenced.

In the course of operating our Site and delivering our Services to you, we collect information. Some of the information that we collect may be considered Personal Information (as defined below). This Notice describes the information we collect, including Personal Information, as well as why we collect it, how we use it, with whom we share it, and how we keep it secure. By using our Site or our Services, you agree to the terms set forth in this Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use your Site or Services.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY

In addition, we also automatically collect certain types of information whenever you interact with our Site. The Personal Information we may collect from you automatically includes:

SERVER LOGS

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

When someone visits the Site, we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to understand the number of visitors to various parts of our Site as well as other analytical information. This information is anonymized, so that it cannot be used to identify anyone specifically.

DATA RETENTION

CHILDREN

This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13. If a child sends information to us, and this information can be identified as originating from a child under the age of 13, the information will be removed from our files as soon as possible. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with such information, they should contact us as soon as possible, and such information will be deleted from our records.
