Supporting Pregnant Women, Infants, and Toddlers across Ohio
The Ohio PN-3 Coalition brings together families, professionals, and community leaders who care deeply about young children and those raising them. We’re focused on practical solutions, strong partnerships, and building a future where every child in Ohio has the best possible start from day one. Our work is organized and co-led by the Black Child Development Institute Ohio and Groundwork Ohio.
MISSION:
The Ohio PN-3 Coalition is dedicated to supporting the health and success of pregnant women, infants, and toddlers across Ohio— especially in communities facing the greatest challenges. By listening to families, lifting up the experience of professionals, and bringing people together, we work to remove obstacles and build stronger, more responsive systems that respect the needs of every family.

We believe in an Ohio where every pregnant woman, infant, and toddler—no matter their background or zip code—has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive community. We’re working to ensure that all young children have a strong start in life, supported by practical solutions, trusted professionals, and policies that put families first.
GOALS:
Health Care Quality & Access
Ensure every pregnant woman, infant, and toddler has access to timely, high-quality care close to home—covering physical, mental, and behavioral health needs so families can grow and thrive.
Early Education & Care
Expand access to high-quality early learning programs that support healthy development from birth and give parents peace of mind—whether they’re working, caregiving, or both.
Strong Statewide Network
Strengthen a statewide network of parents, providers, and organizations working together to make sure Ohio’s youngest children are prioritized in decisions that shape our future.
