Lynanne Gutierrez, President, Groundwork Ohio
As the President of Groundwork Ohio, Lynanne Gutierrez is at the forefront of our statewide mission, spearheading a powerful early childhood movement. As a dedicated child advocate, Lynanne oversees the development and implementation of Groundwork’s policy agenda and shapes priorities and strategies through effective communication, advocacy, research, and data analysis.
A pivotal figure in Groundwork's strategic growth and transformation over the past seven years, Lynanne played a crucial role in expanding the organization's Statehouse footprint, relationships, and reputation across the state. Additionally, her efforts were instrumental in the successful transition to a standalone 501c3 in 2021.
Recognized as a respected early childhood expert in Ohio and nationwide, Lynanne is frequently sought out to address diverse audiences on early childhood policy advocacy. Appointed by Governor Mike DeWine to the state’s Early Childhood Advisory Council, she has served as a member since 2019.
Lynanne's professional journey includes prior roles in advocacy and private law practice focused on children and families. Before becoming a licensed attorney, she served as a Senior Legislative Aide in the Ohio Senate. A distinguished alumna of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctorate from Capital Law School, Lynanne is also a 2023 graduate of the prestigious Leadership Ohio program.
Lynanne, a resident of Columbus, Ohio, shares life with her husband Anthony and their two young children. She is an avid reader and amateur quilter.
State Representative Andrea White (R-Kettering)
State Representative Andrea White is serving her second term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 36th House District, which includes Kettering, Moraine, Oakwood, Belmont and portions of Dayton in Montgomery County.
A long-time resident in the 36th District, White graduated from Centerville High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University. She served as the Clerk of Court for Kettering Municipal Court from 2004 until she was elected to the House. While Clerk of Court, Representative White focused on reinventing processes, leveraging technology and returning millions in revenues and cost savings to improve how government serves its citizens. She also worked on criminal justice issues locally and statewide as legislative co-chair and president of the Ohio Association of Municipal/County Court Clerks.
Along with her public service, Representative White brings deep experience in the private sector where she owned a small business providing communications and process improvement consulting solutions for corporations, small businesses, arts, healthcare and other non-profit organizations for over 15 years. She also served as a project coordinator for a statewide organization to increase inclusion and eliminate barriers for Ohioans with developmental disabilities, worked in early intervention and worked as a hospital communications professional.
Representative White’s desire to serve and bring change for the good extends to her leadership in the community. White has been a leader in helping to launch initiatives to address teen alcohol and drug prevention, addiction, hunger and criminal justice issues. She helped found the South Suburban Coalition and served as long-time chair and board member for Kettering’s Partners for Healthy Youth. She has also been active in the region’s effort to combat the opioid epidemic and substance use, serving on the Montgomery County Community Overdose Action Team, the Montgomery County Drug-Free Coalition and the Montgomery County Prevention Coalition.
Robyn Lightcap, Preschool Promise Executive Director, Groundwork Ohio Board Chair
Robyn serves on the Governor's Early Childhood Advisory Council and is Board Chair of Groundwork Ohio, Ohio's early childhood advocacy organization. She has led complex projects in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, including at IBM, Chicago's Willow Creek Community Church and Evenflo.
She has a business degree from Wake Forest University.
Lisa Henderson, Vice President, Health Initiatives, Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association
Lisa Henderson, MHSA, is the Vice President of Health Initiatives at the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association. She is responsible for community health efforts including the Dayton Regional Pathways HUB and the Greater Dayton Advance Care Planning Initiative's signature project "Decide to be Heard." She also leads GDAHA's role in the regional community health needs assessment and subsequent implementation planning. She has responsibility for grant research, writing and development in concert with member hospitals, Ascend Innovations, and the community.
Prior to taking this role with GDAHA, spent 15 years at Dayton Children's Hospital. She served as the executive director for Dayton Children's Health Partners, as well as director for business development and physician relations. She has extensive experience in healthcare administration, business growth, strategic planning and operations.
Lisa has her Masters in Health Services Administration from Xavier University and serves on the board for House of Bread and volunteers with Junior League of Dayton. She has two energetic kids and a beloved labradoodle.
Rev. Palmer Jason, Director, Good Shepherd Academy
Palmer is Co-Owner and Managing Director at Good Shepherd Academy, LLC. Palmer holds a MBA-Finance degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from United Theological Seminary. In addition to his work at Good Shepherd Academy he is Founder and Senior Pastor at Jubilee Community Church in Miamisburg, OH. Palmer serves on the boards of area non-profit ministries and serves on Committees and Advisory Panels with Preschool Promise, Kindergarten Readiness Summit, Groundwork, and Greater Dayton Emmaus. Palmer and his wife Lisa recently celebrated 37 years of marriage and have 2 adult children, Ezzy and Preston.
Stephanie Keinath, Vice President of Strategic Relations, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce
Stephanie Keinath is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives with the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. Her focus areas include workforce & talent alignment, equity & inclusion and public policy & economic development. In this role, Stephanie also oversees strategic operation of the chamber’s programming, including several brands that function under the chamber umbrella. These programs include Leadership Dayton, the Leadership Dayton Alumni Association, EMPOWER, the Executive Women’s Council, the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council, the Dayton Area Logistics Association, Generation Dayton, and more.
As chief lobbyist for the chamber, Stephanie directs the organization’s advocacy efforts on public policy issues that impact the region’s business community.
In 2021, Keinath was selected as one of ten leaders from across the country to participate in the National Skills Coalition Racial Equity Learning Group, a year-long fellowship centered on racial equity in workforce policy.
In 2020, Stephanie was honored by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) as a national Forty Under 40 winner, recognizing her work as a top emerging leader in the chamber of commerce industry. Stephanie was also selected for the U.S Chamber’s Business Leads Elite Fellowship Program, focused on leadership in education and workforce policy and programming.
Stephanie serves on the U.S Chamber’s Education, Employment & Training committee and as co-chair of the Business Leaders United (BLU) Ohio Coalition. She is also a founding member of Ohio Business for Immigration Solutions (OBIS). Stephanie serves on the Montgomery County Educational Service Center Business Advisory Council (BAC) and as Chair of the BAC policy sub-committee.
Keinath received the Better Business Bureau’s Women in Business Networking “25 Women to Watch” Award in 2017 and was chosen as a Dayton Business Journal’s ‘Forty Under 40’ Award Winner in 2011.
Keinath is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Dayton and is actively involved in the community, serving on the Community Advisory Board for the Dayton Daily News, the Welcome Dayton Committee and the Board of Governors for The Contemporary Dayton. Stephanie also serves on the Board of Directors of the National Aviation Heritage Alliance as well as the Board of Directors for the Wright State University Alumni Association.
Stephanie holds a certificate in non-profit and community leadership from the University of Dayton and is a graduate of the 2017 CFLA program through Women Writing for (a) Change, Cincinnati. Stephanie earned her BA in International Studies from Wright State University and her Masters of Public Administration from the University of Dayton.
Kwanah Bronaugh, Founder, KB Solutions
Kwanah Bronaugh is passionate about children and the early childhood industry. She worked in early childhood education for over 25 years. She has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and graduated from Antioch University. She sincerely hopes that children can engage in quality childcare experiences that ignite their love for learning and education. KB Solutions was created to assist early childhood education programs with "filling in the gaps" by providing substitutes to help fill staffing vacancies, offering professional development for educators, and modeling high-quality child care.

Shannon Jones, CEO of Groundwork Ohio
Shannon Jones is a dynamic and accomplished leader, currently serving as the CEO of Groundwork Ohio. Since her appointment in 2017, Shannon has orchestrated a remarkable transformation, turning the organization into a highly effective and respected public policy and advocacy entity. Groundwork Ohio, under her guidance, is dedicated to championing early learning and healthy development strategies for the state’s youngest children.
Under Shannon’s leadership, Groundwork Ohio has become a model for movement building, with a diverse team of skilled and sought-after policy and tactical experts. Her strategic vision and extensive knowledge of Ohio’s political landscape have propelled the organization’s statewide advocacy efforts to national prominence, bringing about positive changes for Ohio’s young children and their families.
Before joining Groundwork Ohio, Shannon Jones served with distinction in the Ohio General Assembly for a decade, holding key leadership posts as both a state representative and a state senator. A trailblazer in her own right, she is the only woman in her party and the first in Ohio’s history to be elected to leadership teams in both chambers. Known for her commitment to addressing complex issues, Shannon consistently prioritized children by placing them at the forefront of legislative agendas.
Shannon is recognized as one of Ohio’s most distinguished and passionate child advocates, earning invitations to key decision-making tables. She remains dedicated to expanding the inclusion of critical and diverse voices in these important conversations. Currently serving as a Warren County Commissioner, Shannon leverages her leadership and policy expertise in various roles, including as a member of the board of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio and as Chair of the Human Services and Education Committee for the National Association of Counties.
Beyond her professional commitments, Shannon is deeply engaged in her community. She sits on the Board of Directors of Premier Health, serves as the Immediate Past Chair of the Warren County Foundation, and plays a crucial role on the Executive Committee of the United Way of Warren County. As a prestigious Rodel Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Institute, she is among the select few public servants nationally to have achieved this honor.
Despite her numerous accomplishments, Shannon finds the most joy in her family. Married to Russell for thirty years, they share a love for the Cincinnati Bengals and the white sand beaches of Siesta Key. Together with their two children, Jake and Anna, they form the core of what motivates and inspires Shannon’s unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in Ohio and beyond.
Deborah Feldman, Dayton Children’s Hospital President & CEO
Deborah Feldman has been an active community leader for over thirty years. In her current position she serves as the fourth president and chief executive officer of Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Since joining the organization in 2012, Debbie has led a campus-wide revitalization, services expansion, recruitment of highly specialized pediatric experts, and the integration of advanced technology; all while elevating patient and family experience to top quartile performance. Guided by its newest strategic roadmap, Reinventing the Path to Children’s Health, Debbie is now leading the hospital’s efforts to enable every child within reach achieve optimal health through innovations in care, behavioral health services expansion and integration, and initiatives to achieve health equity.
Prior to Dayton Children’s, Debbie served Montgomery County government for thirty years, the last sixteen as County Administrator. In that role she led many critical community initiatives including the Homeless Solutions Ten Year Plan, the Out-of-School Youth Taskforce, the Montgomery County Healthcare Safety Net Task Force and the establishment of the Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton. Her leadership in economic development included the development of Riverscape and the Austin Interchange.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Feldman has a strong record of community service. She currently serves as a Board member of the Children’s Hospital Association, Ohio Children’s Hospital Association and Ohio Hospital Association Board of Trustees. She is Chair of the Preschool Promise Board, created in 2017 to increase access to high-quality preschool for children in the City of Dayton, as well as the Montgomery County Family and Children’s First Council, the DaVinci Neighborhood Redevelopment Collaborative. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Miami University Board of Trustees, and as a member of the AES Ohio Advisory Board.
Her contributions have been recognized by the YWCA Women of Influence Award, Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women Award, Dayton Daily News 2006 Person of the Year, the Dayton Business Journal’s Ten Most Influential People, and the National Conference of Community Justice’s Humanitarian Award. Additionally, she has been honored by the Girl Scouts of Western Ohio, Leadership Dayton and the United Way of Greater Dayton and was recognized at the 2018 League of Women Voters event as one of their Dangerous Dames. She most currently was honored with the Dayton Development Coalition’s Maureen Patterson Regional Leader Award which recognizes extraordinary leaders in our community who advocates for the community’s economic health and growth as well as the Dayton Business Journal’s Jayne Haley Award for Determination, Perseverance and Achievement.
Debbie holds a B.A. in political science from Miami University and a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.
Deirdra L. Yocum, COO of CareSource Management Group Ohio Market
Dee Yocum is an experienced leader in the health care industry with more than 28 years of managed health care experience providing fiscal P&L leadership in government and commercial products. She is a passionate leader with a focus on serving the underserved professionally and personally. She has been with CareSource for 12 years and is currently the Chief Operating Officer in our Ohio Market managing over 1.2 million Medicaid lives and 70k Marketplace lives. Currently overseeing the Ohio Market with accountability of health plan performance, growing market share, meeting operational targets, maintaining, and improving member satisfaction ratings, and enhancing quality measures and ensuring excellence in community and state relationships. Dee also oversees Health Equity efforts, Women and Children’s programs and Life Services program to address SDOH needs in our population health approach. She also has expertise in new business development, mergers & acquisitions, strategic planning, process improvement, product design, organizational design, technology solutions implementation and operations. Dee also held leadership roles where she was responsible for Accreditation (NCQA and URAC), HEDIS Programs, Quality Improvement, Clinical Monitoring and Clinical Grievances for all products and markets in CareSource. Prior to CareSource, Dee was in leadership roles at Humana Inc. and with Ernst & Young, LLP. Dee graduated from Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Psychology. She is also green belt certified in Lean Six Sigma.
