President Obama's proposed budget for fiscal year 2017 provides a greater investment in child care and early learning programs, including increased funding for high-quality affordable child care, Head Start, the IDEA program for children with disabilities, home visiting programs, preschool development grants, and the Child and Dependent Care Tax Credit.
