In what is expected to be one of the largest non-partisan political forum in Southeast Ohio this fall, candidates for the Ohio General Assembly will meet parents, medical professionals, child care providers, local elected officials, teachers, students and college professors as well as representatives of social service agencies Wednesday, September 27 at the Athens Community Center.
The program will also introduce Groundwork, a long-term statewide effort to provide quality options so parents can decide the best way to get their own children ready to learn, starting with a few affordable, achievable objectives in the next four years.
