Special Focus on Families and Children For Area's Largest Candidate Forum
In what is expected to be the largest non-partisan political forum in Southwest Ohio this fall, candidates for the Ohio General Assembly will meet parents, medical professionals, child care providers, local elected officials, teachers, students and college professors as well as representatives of social service agencies Tuesday, September 19, at the University of Cincinnati.
The program will also introduce Groundwork, a long-term statewide effort to provide quality options so parents can decide the best way to get their own children ready to learn, starting with affordable, achievable objectives in the next four years.
